YPhoto Holiday Mug Project

Ever wonder how many mugs or cups or tumblers are given away during the holidays? Our rough guess is probably about eleventy-million! One thing we know for sure is that no store-shelf mug competes with seeing your favorite mug on your mug! This YPhoto project is super easy, and is a definite gift giving magic device.

Creating a mug in YPhoto is a great beginners project, especially when using our pre-designed templates. And we’ve got super easy to follow instructions below. But first let’s explore why we love these mugs! It’s really true that when you add your special photos to a gift, it elevates it so much. Yes, mugs are nice to have, but mugs with your kids, pets, or grandparents faces on it is so much better!

And if you combine this mug with a few thoughtful additions, you’ve got a gift option that fits almost anyone on your list. We love adding these mugs to a cocoa bar, but if you’re gifting them, here are some great ideas:

Mug + chocolate or hot chocolate and mini marshmallows

Mug + biscotti or scones and favorite tea

Mug + colorful pencils or markers and sketch book

Mug + Youngevity Tazza Di Vita coffee and Collagen Creamer

Mug + tea, crochet hooks and yarn

Mug + coffee and book or gift card to a bookstore

Honestly, we could go on and on. Mugs—especially ones featuring photos we love—are great on display year round and can hold your pencils, utensils, or even a stash of Youngevity Triple Truffle chocolates.

Steps for creating a mug:

  1. Go to Youngevity.com/yphoto and log in (use your Youngevity ID and password.
  2. Click Shop, Gifts, 11 oz Mug or 15 oz Mug.
  3. Click Customize below the mug template/design to use.
  4. In the editor, click Layouts in the left tray area.
  5. Click the layout you want to use and then click Apply.
  6. Click Add Pictures, select where you are adding photos from (computer, Facebook, etc.). Follow prompts based on what option you chose until photos appear in left sidebar.
  7. Click and drag your photo to a photo box in the design. Repeat to add all photos.
  8. Click Save and then click Order.
  9. Click the check mark to accept the low resolution of the background image (it prints fine).*
  10. Click Confirm, then click Next to use the Image Enhancement option.
  11. Click Order – you’ll be taken to the shopping cart.
  12. Click Continue to Checkout and finish the check out process.
