It is often said that charity begins at home. Community action and service in the individual places where we all live is part of “Being the Change That Is Needed in the World”, as Gandhi himself famously said. We believe we should get to know our charities and join them with our time and in service, not just our donations. The Be The Change Hero Award is presented to someone who embraces the spirit of our foundation, helping people in and around their community.

Randy Peterson’s outreach to the victims of Hurricane Harvey in Houston is very typical for him. Watching the plight of fellow Texans after Hurricane Harvey, Randy couldn’t sit back and simply watch the news—was compelled to help. Randy and some friends took on this task not exactly knowing what was ahead of them. They personally rescued people from their homes, and created a viral outreach that resulted in helping hundreds of people affected by this disaster.

This sense of service and compassion is just part of what makes Randy so special. His care and concern for others and determination to get out there and help wherever he is needed perfectly embodies the spirit of the Be The Change Foundation.

Luis is a great example of a clutch player. He’s a tremendous team player—whether you’re on his team or not. We’ve heard time and again about his willingness to drive for hours to help out with a presentation or event. Distributors rave about his leadership, his positivity, his attitude, his enthusiasm and his general willingness to help out.

He’s seen as a humble, professional and dedicated leader. The list of people singing his praises is endless, and it’s our honor to recognize him for being an exceptional leader and friend, and impacting the lives of so many.

Rick stepped up to fill a void when it was far from convenient—which is a clutch move. Today he holds his Super Saturday events all over the country. He consistently does two different monthly meetings in Utah, and offers support for not just his team but all Youngevity teams. After a quick conversation with Rick, you can’t help but catch his contagious spirit and work ethic, along with his insatiable desire to help others achieve their goals.

Hall of Fame

The Hall of Fame award is not one that is given away every year, because the honor is rare and specific. Inductees to the Youngevity Hall of Fame are those who have made an extraordinary contribution to the establishment, growth, and history of Youngevity. Quite simply, without their contributions, there wouldn’t be a Youngevity as we know it today.

Recently earning the highest status in Youngevity, Black Diamond Ambassadors, Tom and Denice Chenault don’t just belong in the Hall of Fame for Youngevity, they’re hall of famers in all of network marketing. Traveling, supporting, and hosting dozens of events each year—around the world—they inspire and encourage others to chase their dreams.

What makes them so very special is that they’re both willing share who they authentically are, which includes their mistakes, their triumphs, and their own goals and dreams. The Chenaults are true icons in our profession, yet easily accessible to anyone who wants to grow. Tom and Denice have enough insights to fill a stadium, and without a doubt, Youngevity would not be the same without them.

Shelly Davis is one of Youngevity’s best encouragers. She’s especially gifted in helping people navigate the Keto and Rev programs in the Better Health Challenge, having had great success with the Keto program herself. She’s always helping others find the information they’re looking for, and offering up a warm and supportive message of encouragement.

Nicole Warren is best known for her work with For Tails Only, but her compassion goes beyond just the four legged friends. She’s quick with a complement and a supportive thought for any and all of our programs and events. Her positive attitude is infectious and impossible to ignore!

Corey Gold
Legendary Award

The saying: “go big or go home”? Well the Legendary Award is for all those people that always go big. Everything these achievers do—from endless training, goal setting, leading by example, philanthropy, to the way they live their lives—is big. Their actions and their contributions are simply remarkable, and they are legendary in this company and this industry. But it’s about more than just living large and doing grandiose things. The receiver of this award couples all of that with kindness and generosity, often the very thing that people remember most.

Dr. Corey Gold embodies the Legendary spirit. A pioneer in the acquisition area for Youngevity, Dr. Gold has built one of the most diverse teams in all of network marketing and direct sales. He has reached legendary status by speaking the truth in all situations, leading by example, and being a bridge builder.

He sets his priorities and goals, and never waivers from them, even when the challenge seems insurmountable. Anyone who has seen him cross the Iron Man finish line—twice—can attest to his determination. Recently earning the highest rank in Youngevity, Black Diamond Ambassador, Dr. Gold continues setting giant goals for himself while simultaneously building Youngveity culture by making the time to help anyone who needs it—being generous with both his time and resources.

Cynthia Flores
Presidential Award of Excellence

The Presidential Award of Excellence is brightest award we present. The winner is hand-selected by Co-Founder Steve Wallach and President Dave Briskie as the Distributor who most notably reflects the core values of Youngevity, including: honor, integrity, leadership, loyalty, and compassion. These words are taken seriously and deeply reflected on before determining our recipient.

Cynthia Flores, our 2018 Presidential Award winner is certainly no stranger to our Youngevity Awards. She continues to earn our respect, admiration, and recognition for being an amazing leader—with leadership that shines through in every facet of her life. With fierce determination and hard work, Cynthia has been a driving factor in opening Youngevity’s Mexico market, despite many challenges. For the past four years, she and her husband Daniel have put their heart and soul into that goal—relocating multiple times in the process, from Mexico City to Guadalajara to Chihuahua. Cynthia believes that to help her team develop in these cities, she needs to be with them, not just advising from afar. That’s true dedication, sacrifice, and commitment.

But beyond the troubles of travel and logistics, Cynthia has been engaged and ready for all the hiccups that a process like entering a new market involves, which is the less-than-glamorous problem-solving that identifies a true leader. She believes so strongly in the potential of this market, that she is willing to put in the energy and passion to help it thrive. She has boldly driven this market to where it is today—poised for greatness!

Before encountering Youngevity, Cynthia struggled for years with lupus. Our products have given her relief and our business opportunity has given her financial stability like nothing she’s experienced before. All of the effort and passion she puts into leading her team of 70,000 makes her the highly deserving 2018 Presidential Award of Excellence recipient.

Deives & Maribel Ambrocio
Rebound Award

Everyone loves a comeback story. There’s nothing more inspirational than someone who has faced a challenge and come back even stronger. Our Rebound Award was created to celebrate associates who have shown determination and perseverance in the face of adversity. This award is named in honor of our good friend and former NBA All Star, Theo Ratliff, to honor his determination to overcome the adversity he faced in his life.

Deives and Maribel have an amazing tale of twin rebound stories and the happiest of endings in finding love with each other and success with Youngevity. Maribel escaped an abusive relationship as a mother of two young girls and lived through years of hardship and uncertainty before finding steady work and, eventually, true love in Deives.

Deives, meanwhile, after immigrating to the United States from Guatemala at three years old, fought through the financial challenges of his childhood before joining the Army to serve the country he’d grown to love. He served multiple deployments in Somalia, Iraq and Afghanistan before being grievously injured. Returning home, he continued to struggle with medical issues and a grim prognosis. He was introduced to Youngevity products by Maribel’s mother and the results were astounding.

Now with their health, their happiness and a newfound path to financial security, Deives and Maribel can’t stop telling the world about the power they’ve found in Youngevity—and we’re in awe of their amazing rebound story.

David Mellor
Rebound Award

Everyone loves a comeback story. There’s nothing more inspirational than someone who has faced a challenge and come back even stronger. Our Rebound Award was created to celebrate associates who have shown determination and perseverance in the face of adversity. This award is named in honor of our good friend and former NBA All Star, Theo Ratliff, to honor his determination to overcome the adversity he faced in his life.

The loss of a loved one is one of the most difficult things most of us will endure. And when the hits keep coming, it gets harder and harder to bounce back. David Mellor faced three terrible challenges: he lost his only granddaughter to cancer in 2009, his nephew for whom David had been legal guardian for nine years died unexpectedly in 2016, and a few weeks later, David sadly also lost his only daughter.

That’s a lot to take in. Soon after these tragedies, David was hospitalized and diagnosed with Takotsubo cardiomyopathy—a sudden temporary weakening of the muscular portion of the heart, triggered by emotional stress, and aptly referred to as “broken heart syndrome.”

David held onto his faith and, as an agricultural and biological science teacher and a member of Youngevity’s Scientific Advisory Board, he had confidence in the Youngevity products that could help him as he recovered. Today, David has truly rebounded, and both his health and his business are on the rise. He truly is a rebound champion.

Richard Renton
Rebound Award

Our Rebound Award was created to celebrate associates who have shown determination and perseverance in the face of adversity. This award is named in honor of our good friend and former NBA All Star, Theo Ratliff, to honor his determination to overcome the adversity he faced in his life.

Richard Renton is one of our 2018 Rebound Award recipients. Richard and Roxy Renton have been dear friends with Co-Founders Steve and Michelle Wallach for years. They worked this growing Youngevity business together, travelled and had amazing adventures together, laughed and cried together. As Steve has said, “they mean more to us than words can adequately express”.

Sadly, this year, Roxy passed away. It was such a shock of sadness to everyone, and we can only imagine the toll that it took on Richard. And yet, without missing a beat, he dealt with everything you go through when someone passes away, and he kept forging ahead in his Youngevity business. His dedication to helping others came through even during his own darkest of days—and he was an amazing friend, leader and supporter of others even when his own life was in turmoil due to grief.

Richard continues to give love and support to so many in Youngevity nation, and is incredibly deserving of this Rebound Award.

Kelsey Britton
Rising Star

The Rising Star award is a both a nod to the present, but also a glimpse toward the future. This award is presented to an Associate who has exhibited great potential and is working on hitting their stride. Rising Star award winners have shown us just a glimmer of what you know is going to be a supremely successful future.

Kelsey has done amazing things so far—but she’s just getting started. She has been extremely focused in her business during the past year. She’s purposeful about continuing to develop her own leadership and skills, while already leading the way in several areas of Youngevity. Kelsey and her husband Dustin were semi-finalists in this year’s Better Health Challenge, losing over 75lbs combined. Together they’ve used this better health approach as a boost for their business, starting an exercise program in their neighborhood to help others and attract new prospects to the health campaign. Most importantly, this is a family affair. Kelsey and Dustin pull their kids into the business in meaningful ways, setting goals and enjoying the rewards of meeting them—together.

Guillermo & Violeta Serrano
Rookie of the Year

Starting out strong in your Youngevity business can be the difference between a meandering or skyrocketing path to success. Our Rookie of the Year award is presented to Associates who exhibit extraordinary growth early in their careers as Youngevity distributors by following the Youngevity simple system.

Guillermo and Violeta have definitely gotten off to a tremendous start, and are on a fast track to the top! They signed on as distributors a few years ago but just recently made the decision to embrace their Youngevity business full-time.

Guillermo left a 10-year career as an engineer because he knew that in order to be great and kick-start his business the way he wanted, they had to be all-in. They present, train, and duplicate and it’s paying off for them—their gross earnings in 2017 exceeded their expectations!

Luis & Evelia Arriaza
Starmaker

It’s often noted that the measure of a leader is not simply his or her own success, but the success of the people on their team. This next award is dedicated to our belief that what you do to help others rise up to become stars highlights your true value and abilities.

The Star Maker award is given to distributors who demonstrate a commitment to helping people achieve success; who set out to purposefully impact the lives of others and help them become stars—building up the performance and achievements of those below them in rank.

This year’s winners couldn’t fit that description more perfectly. There is nothing that excites Dr. Luis and Evelia Arriaza more than creating stars. Super stars! They set the tone and create a culture within their team that is focused on building success and achievement. Being a Star Maker means that they have become experts in helping a new distributor see the potential for their own success, even when it is not initially visible to them. In addition to being named the prestigious Diamond Ambassadors, we’re honored to name Dr. Luis and Evelia Arriaza our first-ever Star Makers!

We’re so fortunate in our company. Every day we see people embracing our mission, our messages, our powerful variety of products—and taking them out to the world. We encourage you to “pick your passion.” The Trailblazer Award winners take that to heart in their own unique ways. These are our Trailblazer award winners. This award is presented to Youngevity Associates who successfully forge their own paths, doing things a little differently than others—often in whole new areas.

Even though they’ve been top leaders in Youngevity for years, Scott and Juliette continue to look for ways to grow their business. They started several initiatives over the last year, each with great success. Their Rev 90 campaign triggered a movement and helped hundreds of people get on the path to fitness and health. They also began weekly leadership and fitness calls-whether by phone or by Zoom or by Facebook Live—to enrich others. They’ve also become great pioneers of international growth in their business, traveling around to world to help share the Youngevity message.

Their leadership transcends all organizations through these efforts, culminating in their annual Leadership Mastery event, held in beautiful Estes Park, Colorado. Their passion, drive and desire to forge new paths set them apart in our business.

Maria Roybal

Maria joined Youngevity five years ago and immediately said, “I need to be an example others will want to follow.” She was one of the first Spartans to reach the rank of 5 Star Executive, Circle of Honor, and Diamond Ring Earner…but that wasn’t enough. The innovative step she took was to expand from her Southern California home into Texas, Florida, Arizona and Northern California.

To do this at the level she wanted to, meant leaving her family for months at a time, to live in these areas. Her sacrifice worked, and today her passion is so great that her son and daughter—both of whom hold multiple college degrees, left their careers to become professional network marketers—like their mother. They are also 5 Star Executives and work full time as Team Roybal builders. That is a trailblazing legacy!

Sheryl Morley
Trainer of the Year

The Trainer of the Year holds an honored place in the Youngevity. There’s no pursuit of personal glory in this award, it is a salute to the servant leader. The Trainer of the Year award is given each year to an associate who has shown extraordinary dedication—in terms of training and communication—to Youngevity field organizations, regardless of downline affiliation. Training and mentorship are the keys that help people get started on the right foot, get connected to the right resources, and gain the confidence they need to pursue success.

Sheryl Morley embodies the spirit of this award in every way. Along with last year’s Trainer of the Year, Paul Kroto, Sheryl developed the Star School training program—open to everyone—designed to help people with both their physical and financial health. She travels constantly around the U.S., training and developing leaders.

Her style is patient and kind, allowing everyone to voice concerns before she goes to work removing obstacles for them. Sheryl gets people to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more. Even at Sheryl’s status, being with Youngevity nearly since the beginning—she still strives to seek the next level, the next accomplishment. She recently earned the highest status in Youngevity, Black Diamond Ambassador. Sheryl doesn’t race to the mountain top, she progresses by mastering one thing at a time. She’s a teacher, yet a lifelong learner. Her leadership leaves no one behind and she truly sees the best in everyone, and because of this, she is Youngevity’s Trainer of the Year.

Presidential Award of Excellence

The Presidential Award of Excellence is selected by the CEO and President, and is awarded to the Associate who most notably reflects the core values of Youngevity including honor, integrity, leadership, loyalty and compassion.

Scott and Juliette Fardulis are certainly not strangers to Youngevity Awards. They continue to earn our respect, admiration, and recognition for being amazing leaders—leadership that extends to every aspect of their lives.

They are constantly moving and growing: ranking up to Emerald Ambassador last fall, founding Leadership Mastery (an annual event which hosts hundreds of leaders from different teams all over Youngevity), and have built a large team in over a dozen countries. But no matter their success—they never stop, and they never settle. There’s an intensity in their purpose that drives them to continually be doing more. It’s not persistence to meet some quota. It’s a specific intensity driven by the desire to help people.

They will always make time to coach, mentor and support others. But what makes them so special is that they take any struggle they have, and shape it into an opportunity to serve. It’s very rare to meet an entire family that is so dedicated to helping people. Long ago they decided to play to their strengths—which is to serve, and what Youngevity gains from that is a family and a large team—a legacy really, of helping others.

Trainer of the Year Award

The Trainer of the Year award goes to the distributor who has shown extraordinary dedication—in terms of training and communication—to Youngevity field organizations regardless of downline affiliation.

The reason this award is so special, is because training and mentorship are often the keys that help people really get started on the right foot, get connected to the right resources, and gain the confidence needed to pursue success.

Paul and Vaso Kroto embody the spirit of this award in every way! So many people in Youngevity nation have benefited from Paul’s passion for training. Paul is a former U.S. Marine and a veteran of over two decades in network marketing—recently qualifying as a Youngevity 5 Star Executive. He is 100% committed to Youngevity and Dr. Wallach’s message of health. He literally travels the country assisting many different teams and recently founded Star School with Sheryl Morley to develop future Youngevity leadership. He is a consummate team player willing to help anyone on any occasion. And in case you thought that maybe Paul isn’t busy enough, he and Vaso also own 8 successful restaurants. Their partnership is driven by passion and purpose.

Louise Adrian lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, but has built a business in over 12 countries since coming to Youngevity in the Mialisia acquisition. She’s been a top leader in the industry for over 20 years. She travels all over the world supporting and training her team, and provides a large portion of the training for social selling. Louise has built a downline in multiple verticals—each of which are thriving …. oils, jewelry, spices, health. But what makes her our Clutch Award recipient is that she’s a consummate team player and is always willing to coach and train people from other teams as well!

Rebound Award

There’s nothing more inspirational than someone who has faced a challenge and come back even stronger. Our Rebound Award was created, in honor of our friend, NBA All Star Theo Ratliff, to celebrate associates who have shown determination and perseverance in the face of adversity, just as he did.

Yokasta Aquino’s story is the definition of perseverance. After the company she was working for went out of business leaving her with thousands in unpaid commissions, she has completely rebuilt her team and come to the Youngevity family to accomplish incredible things. Throughout difficult times and challenges, her leadership has never wavered.

Luis Alvarez is our second Rebound Award recipient. A man of honor and integrity, Luis came from Guatemala to the U.S., and without knowing the language or having any family here, he worked his way up to owning his own successful construction company. A tragic accident severed his leg below the knee, and injured his other leg as well. He spent over 1.5 years recovering from this injury.

During that rehabilitation, he couldn’t work, and lost everything he had built. But his spirit was undaunted, so he reinvented himself—at age 47! He started growing a team in network marketing, and eventually came to Youngevity. He has built his business person to person. He’s never been in it for the quick fix, he believes in longevity and the long view, and he trains to that. He lives by his values and doesn’t compromise them. He’s an understanding, calm and respectful leader.

The Youngevity Rising Star award is presented to Associates who exhibit great potential, who are working toward hitting their stride. These people show us just a glimmer of what you know is going to be a supremely successful future.

Alberto and Paola Arellano live in Tijuana Mexico. He was one of the original founders of RicoLife. He is a fantastic leader, dynamic speaker, and is rapidly building a very large team in both the US and Mexico. They hit 4 star in their 1st month with Youngevity, and he feels strongly that believing in Dr. Wallach’s philosophy is the key to building a successful business.

Ricardo Arellano was born and raised in Puebla Mexico until he was 9 years old, and now lives in Los Angeles. He is another of the original founders of RicoLife. He has been in network marketing for 7 years now and has achieved one of the top ranks in a previous opportunity. Like his brother Alberto, Ricardo achieved 4 Star Executive in his first month with Youngevity. He believes that sticking with the basics is the key to success, but also knows that with the breadth of the Youngevity line, everyone can find something they are passionate about.

Raul Luna lives in Northern California. He’s owned multiple businesses including restaurants and a real estate company. He’s been in network marketing for over 15 years, having been at the top of the ranks for multiple companies and recognized as the fastest growing leader. He was a founder of RicoLife and now 4 Star Executive with Youngevity, having achieved that status in his first month. His focus is on creating leaders—strong, passionate leaders.

Trailblazer Award

We’re so fortunate in our company. Every day we see people embracing our mission and the messages—and taking them out to the world. As we encourage you to “pick your passion”—that often means that people find innovative ways to share that passion. The Trailblazer Award is presented to Youngevity Associates who embody the definition of trailblazer: someone who forges their own path, doing things a little differently than others, to great success.

Cynthia Flores could be described as the original Trailblazer. She started her team in the U.S., but it was her dream to take it to Mexico, and if need be—single handedly open Mexico. She’s been consistently determined to do this. And while it’s exciting to be the first one, it’s also a ton of work and a ton of hours, and the support and infrastructure might not be in place. For Mexico, Youngevity had no office, no staff, and yet she was determined to share the message with anyone who would listen. She made the Youngevity mission her mission. And, on top of it, she brought in Juan Carlos and Lilia!

Juan Carlos Flores & Lilia Carrillo really made it possible for Youngevity to fast track and go to Mexico to bring our message across the border. They embody the traits of every Trailblazer: extra perseverance, extra determination, and a vision of what lies ahead. There’s a fearlessness about them. Like all true trailblazers they are not afraid of being in the wilderness by themselves. Juan Carlos and Lilia rely on each other for that support, and they never let doubt or fear creep in. They are blazing that trail for a growing team of people!

Dave Nabrotzky came to Youngevity with the Mialisia acquisition. He orchestrated the BellaVita acquisition, and like a true trailblazer, has been traveling to Asia on his own dime to build the business. It has paid off, as he has a business in over 12 countries now since coming in with a jewelry focused downline in just 2 countries! But beyond all that, Dave has the most generous servant attitude and will do anything for anybody. Truly a gem!

Laurette Willis is from Oklahoma. She’s a Circle of Honor achiever this year, and she’s worked really hard to build a strong team in Youngevity—with a foundation in leadership and training. Laurette’s expansive team was well represented in Top Achievers Club, Team Challenge, and many Youngevity events.

Jimmy Duran has always displayed commitment, loyalty and determination. He’s a past recipient of the Rebound award for overcoming adversity after a serious accident. Jimmy is the consummate professional, approaching everything he does from the perspective of how he can make sure his team succeeds with him. He simply makes it his mission to help others.

Helen Watt is also a Circle of Honor achiever. She’s a leader who truly grasps the Youngevity model and leads by example. With a background in memory keeping and successful home meetings, Helen is always there to train, support, and lead her team, whether it’s an event, contest, or new Youngevity product offering.

The Clutch Award

Inspired by Drew Pearson, a player who is known for his game-winning catches in "clutch" situations, this award goes to the Distributor who has shown extraordinary efforts as a team player, offering support selflessly.

Stan is simply the type of guy who would lend you his last dollar. This attitude translates to his business as a servant leader. He is always there “in the clutch” for his team and Youngevity—even hiring a bus to bring people to Roadshow events. He and his wife, Laura, continually reach out to help others at every level and every location.

Bryan Baum
Rebound Award

This award goes to a distributor who has shown determination and perseverance in the face of adversity.

Bryan Baum was diagnosed with stage 4 Cancer six years ago. After having a football sized tumor removed, 2 years later the cancer returned. He found hope in the Youngevity message. Since that time, the doctors have not been able to determine if any cancer remains. His story of survival more than qualifies him for this award.

Jimmy Duran
Rebound Award

The Rebound Award is named in honor of NBA All Star, Theo Ratliff, to honor his determination to overcome the adversity he faced in his life. We have many in Youngevity who have also overcome significant challenges and taken charge of their own destinies.

Jimmy Duran was in a terrible motorcycle accident only 15 months prior to this event. He has truly rebounded back in health and continues to me an amazing leader in Youngevity.

Asif Chishti
Rebound Award

This award goes to a distributor who has shown determination and perseverance in the face of adversity.

Asif Chishti Born in a third world country, through a tragic accident, he lost the use of his leg and eventually his leg was amputated. Asif suffered severe discrimination, emotionally and physically, but he has risen above by working hard and going to school. He has 2 masters and speaks 5 languages. He is an advocate for teens and a motivational speaker. Asif works as a body builder and a trainer at a gym and inspire others. Asif shows the true spirit of rebounding in the face of adversity.

Coral Grant
Rookie of the Year

This award goes to the distributor who exhibits extraordinary growth within their first year as a Youngevity distributor by following the Youngevity simple system.

Coral Grant brought her successful experience as a coach and entrepreneur into Youngevity, and parlayed that into almost instant success. She's a tenacious business builder who leaves people better than she found them.
