Croptoberfest: Prep for the Holidays with Heritage Makers

Every year it is the same. Once the kids are back to school I think I have all the time in the world.
It is not true.
Every year September lulls me into a feeling of security when really, as a mom of four, I need to be preparing for battle. Yes, the holidays! Just walk into any store if you want a reality check, Halloween and holiday decor is everywhere! Though I think I have time, Halloween will be here before you know it and then it’s Thanksgiving and then BAM it’s what’s supposed to be the happiest time of the year!
Who makes these beloved holidays happy? We do! With decor and music, food and lights. We make it magical with thoughtful, treasured homemade gifts and holiday cards!
It’s a lot of pressure sometimes, let’s be honest.
So this brings me to how happy I am for our YGY Photo corporate staff along with our amazing memory ambassadors who gave us Croptoberfest!
IN SEPTEMBER!
It’s genius!
So I ask myself, could this be the year I don’t feel like the out-of-shape kid lagging half a mile behind in the race?
Could I get some holiday stuff crossed off my holiday list in SEPTEMBER?
Because of Croptoberfest I can! I will!
I will make some holiday gifts, use my wonderful stash of Heritage Makers publishing points and create darling, wonderful gifts and greeting cards that will bring a tear of joy to grandpa’s eye or let my sister know how very much we love her. Yes, this year I will be ready––bring it!

Note, you can exact color-match the text to an article of clothing (like the pink coat in the photo was used as the color for the words, I just love Heritage Makers design studio and new fonts too.).

I have all my addresses in Heritage Makers and I just click next to the name and Heritage Makers addresses the cards for me and sends them out! It’s like having a personal assistant! Heaven!!! This product is something that I do every year for each of my four children. I pick something they did special in the year and make them a personalized ornament. Like first time riding a bike, horse, water skiing, etc. With Heritage Makers you can create traditions and capture memories at the same time. Okay, just one more idea. I like to make 12×12 canvases as holiday decorations to celebrate old Halloween or Christmas photos. Here is the canvas I created of my husband’s favorite Christmas morning when he was a wee lad. I surprised him and gave it to him as a gift one year and also one to his parents. There may have been a few tears shed. #iloveheritagemakers
