Distributor Spotlight: Larin & Dowanna Cox

Larin and Dowanna Cox are true Youngevity crusaders. Their love for Dr. Wallach’s message and passion for helping others to find the health and happiness that they’ve found, is what drives them.
How did you get started with Youngevity?
When Dr. Wallach was speaking in St. George Utah, my brother heard him talking on the radio and asked me if I wanted to ride down with him to hear Dr. Wallach speak. I was so impressed with what he said, that I knew we needed to try the products. Dowanna had some health issues, so after hearing him speak, I asked him what products she needed. He gave me a list of products and a protocol to follow. After following the protocol for about 3 months, she had a miraculous improvement in her health and was able to do things she hadn’t been able to do for a couple of years†. We were telling everyone we knew about the products and what it had done for us.
What was your “aha” moment when you realized you could turn Youngevity into a business?
After sharing with numerous people, the company sent us a little thank you check, at that time our only goal was to pay for Dowanna’s products, so we just kept sharing and talking to people about her wonderful results and we were soon able to pay for my products. That’s when I thought “Whoa, maybe we can help make our house payment, which we were able to do.”††
What do you like most about network marketing?
We love working with people, and helping them with their health and income goals††. Second thing we love about network marketing is the residual income††. It’s awesome! We had three daughters get married after joining Youngevity. What a joy it was to be able to pay for their weddings††. We have been able to go full time in Youngevity, giving us the time freedom to travel when and where we want. We now have 17 grandkids. It’s so nice that we can travel together in our RV and stay for several weeks if we want.
Looking back, what do you know now that you wish you knew when you started?
What can really happen when put heart into it and just talk to people.
What’s your best advice for someone who has doubts about their ability to turn Youngevity into a business?
Every morning get on the Daily Dose call. Listen to your trainers and attend all the Youngevity training events possible. That’s where you become inspired to set your goals high and learn how to achieve your dreams. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!
You’ve been with Youngevity for over 10 years. How do you stay inspired?
Working with positive like minded people is a bonus that you can’t get anywhere else. We stay inspired by continuing to engage in the fun Youngevity family community. Our motto is, “It’s not when you get into Youngevity, but when Youngevity gets into you.”
