Storybook 101

Posted: December 1, 2016 | By: Youngevity

As the year comes to an end the memory keeper in us starts thinking about how to collect the highlights into one place. Enter the Storybook! Storybooks are a great option for capturing photos and memories for the year. They come in a variety of sizes and we offer templates so you can drop your photos in, change the text, and place your order. The November Studio U class was all about Storybooks from start to finish – a 101 series class. We recorded it so you can watch it at your leisure. Here are a few highlights.

Brooke made this cute 12×12 Storybook (template 143071) with tons of places to add photos. The grid format is easy to use and there’s still room to add text about the photos you include.

This page is the inside cover, but it gives you an idea of what the book looks like. Brooke filled in January to give you an idea of how to use the template.

Here’s what the rest of this template looks like. Each item on the page is locked so you can select it and then drag and drop your photo in that spot. For example, if you selected the green Place Photo Here image for day 8, then go to your photos and drag a photo to that area until you get the message to drop the image there. Voila, image added!

And again, if you want to see the whole class, you can watch the recording. You’ll see tips for successfully creating a storybook, as well as templates added in November and a preview of the December artwork.

Have fun creating!
