The Power of Print

Posted: July 26, 2018 | By: Lisa E

I remember my first camera, a Kodak Pocket Instamatic 110. It was a gift when I was 9 to take on my summer vacation with my grandparents.

I was so excited to take my own pictures and I’m so glad my grandmother taught me how to scrapbook that summer. Looking through those pictures and stories captured at 9 years old are so funny today.

Fast forward to today – I can’t decide which I like better; how technology lets me instantly see if I captured the right picture or all the amazing options now available because we take digital images. But one thing hasn’t changed…the power of the print! This month I want to share more about the options you have within your Snap2Finish account to upload, organize, archive and edit your photos whether you use them in digital photo books and gifts or order prints for your traditional scrapbook album or to put into frames around your home.

If you’re traveling this summer (and really anytime during the year) be sure that you are selecting your favorite memories to regularly upload to your Snap2Finish account to give you an off-site back up in case you lose your camera / phone.

Once you’ve gotten your images uploaded, you may want to spend a little time getting them tagged and organized.  After a little organizational work, you’ll be able to find any picture within your album with just 1 or 2 clicks! The photo editing features within Snap2Finish will really help you create the best image before printing or using in a digital project.

One last tip I want to share, be sure you upload the original, uncropped photos into your Snap2Finish account. Cropping photos changes the pixel size (resolution) of the image. But don’t worry, you’ll be able to crop the images any way you want before you order prints or use them within your digital projects.

Have fun celebrating the Snap!
