Family Yearbook

During the holidays, one of the traditions many families love is looking through their family photo books together. In fact, they don’t just look at them, they laugh and love over them. In fact, our kids have even been known to take smart phone pictures of some of their favorite memories to share on their social media platforms.

If this isn’t one of your family’s traditions you can easily start it this year!

Here are some basic steps to help you get this project started, and finished, quickly. In fact, as an extra incentive our 12 x 12, 8.5 x 11, and 7.5 x 10 photo books are ON SALE, 15% off during January and February!

1. Keep it simple. Start with your favorites from the year. You might even have these already marked in a favorites album within your phone or computer.

2. Create a two-page spread per month with your favorites. It’s easy to change the layout in Snap2Finish based on how many pictures you want to use. One of the spaces can even be for the story behind those great pictures!

3. Don’t forget to add some journaling!  If you have younger children, your story can be written in simple sentences so they can read along. I encourage young moms to write a simple starter sentence for their grade school child, followed by mom’s story to finish up the page.

The best pictures are the printed ones. They create great conversations too! My friend, Erica, and her family love looking through their books together! Her boys are even “reading” to their Grandma!

Keep celebrating the Snap!
