Saveur Bronze Essentials Pack Recipes

Features California Onion Mix, Garlic Mix, Downunder Gourmet Grill Rub, Seasoned Salt, Taco Spice, and Wok Spice.

Downunder Burgers

Ingredients:

500g / 1 pound ground beef
1-2 tsp Saveur Downunder Gourmet Grill Rub
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp Saveur California Onion Mix
4 bread rolls/buns, gluten free
Lettuce, tomato, cheese

Instructions:

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Form 4 patties, cover, and place in fridge covered for 30 minutes. In a pan or grill, heat a little ghee and cook burgers to your liking, turning only once. For a great taste, chop and fry an onion with a little California Onion Mix & Mango Apricot Strawberry Balsamic Vinegar for a great addition to your burger. Served with Sweet Potato Fries with Saveur Seasoned Salt and Sour Cream Dip with California Onion Mix.

 

Taco Wings

Ingredients:

500g/1lb wings
1 tbsp Saveur Garlic Mix
½-1 tsp Saveur Seasoned Salt
1 400g/14oz can diced tomatoes
2 tsp Saveur Taco Spice
For Dip:
1 tbsp California Onion Mix
1 cup sour cream mixture

Instructions:

Toss wings in Garlic Mix and Seasoned Salt in a zip top bag. Remove and place coated wings on a lined baking tray and bake in a moderate 180/350 oven till cooked to your liking. Make Dip as per jar instructions. Place diced tomatoes, Taco Spice & Seasoned Salt in a pan and heat through. Toss through wings. If you would like a thicker sauce add some tomato paste to your desired thickness. Serve with California Onion Dip.

 

Warm Potato Salad

Ingredients:

500g/1lb washed potatoes chopped into 2 cm/1” pieces
3 spring onions finely diced
3 tbsp sour cream
1 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tsp Saveur Seasoned Salt
2 tbsp Saveur California Onion Mix

Instructions:

Boil potatoes till just cooked. While potatoes are boiling, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, Seasoned Salt and California Onion Mix together.  Drain potatoes and place in bowl with spring onions and sour cream mix. Mix gently and eat immediately. Crispy bacon can be added.

 

Spaghetti Squash

Ingredients:

1 medium spaghetti squash cut in half seeds removed
2-3 tbsp ghee
2 tbsp Saveur Garlic Mix
1 tsp Saveur Seasoned Salt
¾ cup cherry tomatoes
½ cup baby mozzarella
1 cup baby spinach (optional)

Instructions:

Place spaghetti squash onto lined baking tray and rub insides with a little ghee and Garlic Mix. Bake in low oven till soft. Strands will easily pull apart. Carefully pull spaghetti squash strands apart (be cautious of steam). Place in bowl with all other ingredients, toss, and serve. Tomatoes can be pan fried with a little Seasoned Salt for added flavor before adding to dish.
