Home Decor DIY Style with Lisa Bearnson

My favorite thing in this world is being a mom but as my five children are getting older and leaving the nest, I’ve discovered the absolute joy of being a grandma. Oakley is almost three and calls and asks if she can come play with “Nana!” I love these days—it’s nonstop playing and fun. I’ve created a guest room in our home that doubles as Oakley’s room. It houses a cozy little pink chair, favorite books and stuffed animals.

I’ve also decorated the walls using several Anthology DIY kits. I love how easy it is to print photos in Snap2Finish. Oakley especially loves the “Baby Oakley” pictures.
The “base” or frames of these wall decor items is from the Wall Organization kit. Yep—all three frames PLUS extra clips PLUS gallery wall art is included for only $49. The supply is limited so grab a kit or two while you can.
The cute easel card is from the Sign It card kit. Not only does this kit boast everything you need to create 20 cards in a short amount of time, the cards also work well as home decor pieces. The “Sweet Memories” and “Beautiful” chipboard come from the Rosey Posey paper kit. (See more information below.)

This cork board frame houses one of the gallery wall art pieces from the Wall Organization kit. Also, I love how little Oakley is wearing a matching Anthology shirt!
I love this nine-shelf frame (complete with three bottles). I wanted this to have a nostalgic look so I included little clay dolls that were created by a sweet scrapbooker when my girls were young. The bottles are filled with colored embellishments from the Gems and Pearls kit and all the paper is from the Rosey Posey paper collection. I used re-positionable adhesive so I could easily change out the look as Oakley grows.
With three married children, hopefully I’ll be adding more grandchildren pictures and memorabilia to this room soon!
