Joyful Pages!

The new Joyful & Triumphant by Lauren Hinds collection truly is joyful and is so easy to create with. The hardest part is deciding which of the border strip designs to use because there are so many that I love that I want to use them all. Guess I better start taking more holiday photos!

Let’s start with the quickest and easiest way to create a page – use a Slip-in Multi-pocket Page. Here’s what makes these pages so easy to use. You select four photos, a journal card, and a pocket border strip that matches. It’s that simple! And look how fun that wood background is. It creates a fun, rustic look for the page.

This page shows how you can use the designer cardstock as your background and tie it in with border strips and journal cards. I love to mat a 2″ Border Strip with a Pocket Border Strip. For this one I cut the Pocket Border Strip in half lengthwise and adhered half on each side of the 2″ Border Strip. It helps ground it to the page and adds a little extra umph to the look overall feel of the page. For the journal card, I was tight on space so I trimmed it to a squarish shape that fit better in that spot. Don’t think you have to use things as they are. You can adjust them to work for your page.

This final layout uses a refill page as the base, which is an easy way to add design elements to your layout. This page also includes a punched border using the new Presents design cartridge (that will be available in the next week or two). I love how it ties in with the present on the border strip.

The last thing I want to show you is how beautifully the Gold and Pine Solid Color Cardstocks look with the Designer Cardstock in this collection! You can use these cardstocks for borders, as the base of your page, for journaling blocks, and so many other things.

I don’t know about you, but this collection has me counting down the days until the holidays are in full swing! Make sure you order the Joyful & Triumphant by Lauren Hinds collection now so you are ready to record your holiday memories in style.
