Important Note Regarding Conference Call Numbers

There will be a change with the Conference Call numbers for Hair on Fire, Daily Dose, and calls hosted by Dr. Conaway, Brenda Wright & Peggy Lapsley sometime this week. Watch out for the announcements. If you have the moderator number, if you are NOT the speaker, please call in on the guest line NOT the moderator line. Conference Call lines are actually the back haul of long distance lines so when there are a lot of folks calling around the Country it affects these lines as well. There are several things that degrade the line, so we are attempting to improve it. If that doesn’t work we have a plan B.

A funny thing happened to me yesterday. I was on the phone chatting with Deb Hull (through bluetooth of course)…when a police “Divvy Van” ….that’s Australian for a Police wagon…flashed their lights at me. I said to Deb…”Hey I’m being pulled over by the police…I’ll call you back”. Deb Hull frantically tried to message to see if I was OK….Mark Hull…”had she had a beer!”…

This is an excellent story of Gratitude that our YGY rep, James Earl Moore found. (Posted from Story2Satori).

There was a bird who lived in a desert, very sick, no feathers, nothing to eat and drink, no shelter to live in. One day a dove was passing by, so the sick unhappy bird stopped the dove and inquired “where are you going?” it replied ” I am going to heaven”.

So the sick bird said “please find out for me, when my suffering will come to an end?” The dove said, “sure, I will.” and bid a good bye to the sick bird. The dove reached heaven and shared the message of the sick bird with the angel in charge at the entrance gate.

The angel said, “For the next seven years of its life the bird has to suffer like this, no happiness till then.”

The dove said, “When the sick bird hears this he will get disheartened. could you suggest any solution for this.”

The Angel replied, “Tell him to recite this verse *”Thank you God for everything.”* The dove on meeting the sick bird again, delivered the message of the angel to it .

After seven days the dove was again passing by and saw that bird was very happy, feathers grew on his body, a small plant grew up in the desert area, a small pond of water was also there, the bird was singing and dancing cheerfully. The dove was astonished. The Angel had said that there would be no happiness for the bird for the next seven years. With this question in mind the dove went to visit the angel at heaven’s gate.

The dove put forth his query to the Angel. The Angel replied, “yes it is true there was no happiness for the bird for seven years but because the bird was reciting the verse *”THANK YOU GOD FOR EVERYTHING”* in every situation, his life changed.

When the bird fell down on the hot sand it said *”THANK YOU GOD FOR EVERYTHING”*

When it could not fly it said, *”THANK YOU GOD FOR EVERYTHING”*

When it was thirsty and there was no water around, it said, *”THANK YOU GOD FOR EVERYTHING”*

Whatever the situation, the bird kept on repeating, *”THANK YOU GOD FOR EVERYTHING”* and therefore the seven years got dissolved in seven days.

When I heard this story, I felt a tremendous shift in my way of feeling, thinking, accepting and viewing life

I adopted this verse in my life. WHATEVER the situation I faced I started reciting this verse *”THANK YOU GOD FOR EVERYTHING”.* It helped me to shift my view from what i did not have to what i have in my life.

For instance; if my head aches I THANK GOD that the rest of my body is completely fine and healthy and I notice that the headache does not bother me at all.

In the same manner i started using this verse in my relationships (whether family, friends, neighbors, colleagues ) finances, social life, business and everything with which I can relate. I shared this story with everyone I came in touch with and it brought a great shift in their behaviour too.

This simple verse really had a deep impact on my life, i started feeling how blessed I am, how happy I am, how good life is.

The purpose of sharing this message is to make all of us aware of how powerful the *“ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE”* is. It can reshape our lives…!!!

Lets recite this verse continuously to experience the shift in our life.

So be grateful, and see the change in your attitude.

It was so exciting to wake up at 4:30am this morning and do a 90 for life webinar for over 50 people in Asia. I can think of 100 reasons why I can’t have success in Asia while living in SLC Utah. I just want to remind us all to never have excuses. Stop justifying why this or that won’t work. I don’t speak the language (Mandarin) SO…I got a translator. I live almost 7,000 miles away SO…I did a virtual zoom meeting. We are in different time zones SO…I woke up early. 6am my time is 9pm Taiwan time.

Never ever allow yourself to make excuses. The world needs your products. The world needs YOU!! You have very powerful knowledge that can save lives. I invite all of us to have more passion and ambition today in our businesses. Get out of your comfort zones and make things happen TODAY. Are you in?

month end qualification – important youngevity correspondence

Youngevity as a company strives to pay our Distributors with a competitive compensation plan and on time following our compensation plan payout dates. We have been working diligently with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance efforts.  One of the compliance requirements is to have qualifications for commissions completed by the last day of the month. This is for correct payout times, Sales Tax reporting, and correct Accounting procedures.

For 2020, the Qualifications Department has some changes with the end of the month deadlines.

What does this mean to you?

Any requests for order transfers or volume changes would need to be submitted by the last day of the month to ensure time for these changes to be approved and completed.  This will give you the first business day of the next month to fix any rank or compression drop.  Anything received after these dates will apply for the next month’s qualification period.

Please share this information with your team and utilize our Autoship program.  The last autoship date is the 28th of each month so an accurate volume total is available with these orders by the next day.  Another great tool is the Business Center 2.0 website with easy access to upcoming renewals, bonus qualifications reports and commission summaries.

Good foods, bad foods and the gluten-free diet

Did Dr. Wallach suggest that you go on a Gluten-Free Diet?

Here is the quick test that Dr. Wallach would ask to determine if you are gluten intolerant:

  • Do you have any bowel problems (irritable bowel syndrome, diverticulitis, celiac disease, constant constipation or diarrhea, etc?)
  • Did you have asthma as a child?
  • Do you currently have lung problems including chronic bronchitis?
  • Do you have any skin problems like eczema, psoriasis, constant rash, rosacea, etc?
  • Have you had your appendix out?

If you said yes to one or more of these, then you are gluten intolerant. The Mayo Clinic estimated that one-third or more of our population is gluten intolerant.

Gluten-Free Diet: You should avoid anything that contains wheat, barley, rye or oats. IF IT HAS WHEAT, BARLEY, RYE OR OATS IN IT DON’T EAT IT! You’ll have to read labels to be sure if any of these are contained. At restaurants ask to be sure that the foods you are ordering do not contain any gluten. You can eat the Good Foods below.

There are many gluten-free cookbooks on the market. You can call 800-755-4656 to order one sold by Dr. Wallach’s wife, Dr. MA Lan. At that same number you can order any of Dr. Wallach’s books, CDs or DVDs.
Major food stores have large quantities of gluten-free items. Ask your grocer for them. Most restaurants have gluten-free items or complete gluten-free menus. Ask for them.

Below are the recommendations from Dr. Wallach for EVERYBODY, not just those with a gluten intolerance:

BAD FOODS:
These are the foods to avoid:

  • NO Fried Food – nothing fried! You should boil, broil or bake and never more well-done than medium rare.
  • NO Oils—cooking or salad. Yes, this includes Olive Oil!!! NO OIL OF ANY KIND!
  • NO well-done beef (rare or medium-rare is ok). Boil, broil or bake and never more well-done than medium rare
  • NO nitrates or nitrites – Read labels. Tell your butcher NO NITRATES or NITRITES!
  • NO carbonated drinks within one hour before, during or 1 hour after meals.

GOOD FOODS:
Eggs—soft scrambled in butter, soft boiled, poached
Butter
Salt
Dairy
Fish
Chicken
Pork
Lamb
Beef—rare/medium rare
Veggies
Fruit
Mixed, Salted Nuts—no peanuts
Nut Butters—no extra sugar
Rice
Millet
Pure Buckwheat (Isn’t wheat)
Beans
Couscous (made from pearl millet only)
Quinoa
Coffee, Tea, Green Tea, Redwine
4-8, 8oz glasses of filtered water each day. Avoid soft plastic bottles.

To cook eggs you may:

  1. Poach- This is his number one choice because the water never reaches a temperature greater than 212 degrees.
  2. Scramble with butter over very low heat and only until they are just setting up. If you can hear them cooking it’s too hot.
  3. Soft Boil with the yoke still runny. Some call them “2 minute eggs”.
  4. No Oils. Yes, this means NO olive oil, NO canola oil, NO coconut oil, etc. If it has OIL in the name don’t use it. This also includes anything made from oil, like salad dressing. He recommends only salt and lemon juice as a salad dressing.
  5. No margarine or combo spreads. No mayonnaise. Don’t cook with it, don’t put it on your salad, nothing made from oils. No burned fats. If you grill your food have something between the food and the fire (like foil) so the juice doesn’t drip onto the fire and deposit dangerous things on the meat.

Here some of the things that Dr. Wallach says you should do:

  1. DO: Salt your food to taste. To properly digest your food you need stomach acid and salt helps in the creation of stomach acid.
  2. DO: Use Butter instead of margarine. Margarine is simply oil in a solid state.

Presidents Day is today – February 17th

Important Youngevity Qualification Correspondence

Youngevity as a company strives to pay our Distributors with a competitive compensation plan and on time following our compensation plan payout dates. We have been working diligently with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance efforts.  One of the compliance requirements is to have qualifications for commissions completed by the last day of the month. This is for correct payout times, Sales Tax reporting, and correct Accounting procedures.

For 2020, the Qualifications Department has some changes with the end of the month deadlines.

What does this mean to you?

Any requests for order transfers or volume changes would need to be submitted by the last day of the month to ensure time for these changes to be approved and completed.  This will give you the first business day of the next month to fix any rank or compression drop.  Anything received after these dates will apply for the next month’s qualification period.

Thinking Out of the Box (Creative Thinking)

In a small Italian town, hundreds of years ago, a small business owner owed a large sum of money to a loan-shark. The loan-shark was a very old, unattractive looking guy that just so happened to fancy the business owner’s daughter.

He decided to offer the businessman a deal that would completely wipe out the debt he owed him. However, the catch was that we would only wipe out the debt if he could marry the businessman’s daughter.

Needless to say, this proposal was met with a look of disgust.

The loan-shark said that he would place two pebbles into a bag, one white and one black. The daughter would then have to reach into the bag and pick out a pebble. If it was black, the debt would be wiped, but the loan-shark would then marry her. If it was white, the debt would also be wiped, but the daughter wouldn’t have to marry the loan-shark.

Standing on a pebble-strewn path in the businessman’s garden, the loan-shark bent over and picked up two pebbles.

Whilst he was picking them up, the daughter noticed that he’d picked up two black pebbles and placed them both into the bag.

He then asked the daughter to reach into the bag and pick one. The daughter naturally had three choices as to what she could have done:

1. Refuse to pick a pebble from the bag.
2. Take both pebbles out of the bag and expose the loan-shark for cheating.
3. Pick a pebble from the bag fully well knowing it was black and sacrifice herself for her father’s freedom.

She drew out a pebble from the bag, and before looking at it ‘accidentally’ dropped it into the midst of the other pebbles. She said to the loan-shark;

“Oh, how clumsy of me. Never mind, if you look into the bag for the one that is left, you will be able to tell which pebble I picked.”

The pebble left in the bag is obviously black, and seeing as the loan-shark didn’t want to be exposed, he had to play along as if the pebble the daughter dropped was white, and clear her father’s debt.

Moral of the story:
It’s always possible to overcome a tough situation throughout of the box thinking, and not give in to the only options you think you have to pick from.

The Elephant Rope (Belief)

A gentleman was walking through an elephant camp, and he spotted that the elephants weren’t being kept in cages or held by the use of chains.

All that was holding them back from escaping the camp, was a small piece of rope tied to one of their legs.

As the man gazed upon the elephants, he was completely confused as to why the elephants didn’t just use their strength to break the rope and escape the camp. They could easily have done so, but instead, they didn’t try to at all.

Curious and wanting to know the answer, he asked a trainer nearby why the elephants were just standing there and never tried to escape.

The trainer replied;

“when they are very young and much smaller we use the same size rope to tie them and, at that age, it’s enough to hold them. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believe the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free.”

The only reason that the elephants weren’t breaking free and escaping from the camp was that over time they adopted the belief that it just wasn’t possible.

Moral of the story:
No matter how much the world tries to hold you back, always continue with the belief that what you want to achieve is possible. Believing you can become successful is the most important step in actually achieving it.

tips for SELLING & suggesting ESSENTIAL OILS

Reminder: Selling essential oils and suggesting the use of different essential oils comes with a responsibility.

1. The responsibility to yourself – knowing what to use and how to use it safely within the YGY guidelines. Our oils are pure and potent. They CAN harm you if you are not informed. Please don’t listen to the person who says “pure oils can be ingested, used without a carrier, can be used on anyone etc”. Responsible oil users know that is not true. Taking venom from a snake and drinking it isn’t a good idea, is it? Or rubbing poison ivy on your body is something that you wouldn’t do, correct?

2. The responsibility to teach our family members the correct way and the correct oil to use. We would’t want our child hurt because he liked the smell of the cinnamon oil and wanted to use that. We would not want our husband who has high blood pressure or our daughter who is breast feeding to use peppermint. It CAN hurt them.

3. The responsibility to our clients – To know how to use what they buy from us and to be able to guide through the safety so that they and their families are safe and have the knowledge to use what they purchase. A bottle sitting on a shelf and collecting dust does nothing for the client but waste their money and does nothing for the distributor who sells to them because they will not have another essential oil sale from that person.

4. The responsibility to Youngevity – There are laws from the FDA and whether you agree with them or not, teaching or talking about using oils “off label” will get the whole company in trouble. They will find out about it and they will come after us. If you are not sure that this pertains to distributors then google to see the letters that were sent to DoTerra & Youngliving about their practices. Then, google to find the judgement against Herbalife. Protect your business, the business of your friends here and the company. Be responsible.

5. The responsibility to do it right – Please know that Pinterest and other snappy videos that go around may sound like they have wonderful recipes for essential oil blends, creams, salts, bath bombs, and other wonderful personal use things.. always triple check with Leianne or Brenda or even other wonderful people here “in the know” about dilution rates. Better yet, check out the aroma share fliers in the back office for 2 years worth of safe and wonderful recipes that you can make. I saw a woman at a vendor show just yesterday selling roller bottles filled with blends as well as some creams. I asked about dilution rate and she had no idea what I was talking about. Her answer was that they were “tried and true” recipes. Might have been, but she couldn’t tell me if they were a 5% dilution, a 10% dilution or 0% dilution. Very scary that she knew nothing nor cared about the safety of her product.

Actor Jim Carrey grew up so poor that his family lived in a van after his father lost his job; at one point the Carreys slept in a tent on a relative’s lawn. But Carrey believed in his own future and in the things that he wanted to accomplish in his life.

Final thoughts….more heartwarming stories

Airports are stressful enough without something unexpected happening. Unless you find an angel on Earth, like one father did. After trying to check in for an upcoming flight with his 2-year-old daughter, the man was told the toddler would need her own ticket. He mistakenly assumed she could fly for free because of her age. Clearly distraught, he explained he didn’t have the money to cover her flight and left the counter to use the phone. That’s when a stranger stepped in and saved the day. A woman he had never met approached the counter and told the agent she wanted to pay for the little girl’s ticket—all $749 of it. The father was overcome with appreciation and asked for the woman’s name so he could repay her, but she insisted on remaining anonymous. In fact, the only thing anyone knows about her is this amazing act of kindness, thanks to a viral photo on Facebook.

Pittsburgh Police Detective Jack Mook was a self-proclaimed bachelor who loved the single life, doing what he wanted while he was off-duty. He often went to the gym, where he boxed and volunteered his time to teach kids boxing. He became particularly close to two brothers, who came in almost every week for several years for boxing lessons. One day, they just stopped showing up, and the detective knew something was wrong. He decided to put his professional skills to work. Mook found older brother Josh at his school and broke down in tears when the boy explained the conditions under which he and his brother lived in at his foster parent’s house. Through an emergency appeal, he decided to foster the boys and later went on to adopt them, finalizing the most important chapter of his life. The once self-proclaimed bachelor is now the father of two teenagers, and happily married with three step-children. Not surprisingly, and after his big-hearted story went viral, women were lining up to meet and marry this ordinary superhero.

I was about 8 years old and it was a couple days after Christmas. My mother had found a present she had bought for me in her closest. Instead of just giving it to me and have that be that, she snuck out on our back deck and threw it on the roof. My parents called me out and showed me this gift, and my dad got a ladder and spotted me while I got it down. I still remember the butterflies thinking, Wow he really came! Santa was up on this roof and this fell out of the sleigh!” The gift was a pink Barbie camera. I’ll never forget that feeling.

The Co-Worker
One year when I was younger, my parents were struggling financially. One of the ladies my mom works with asked my mom what my brother and I wanted for Christmas. My mom told her, and the lady bought exactly what we wanted and gave it to my parents to give to us Christmas morning. To this day my brother still says it was the best Christmas present ever, and it wasn’t until a couple years ago that my mom told us it was her co-worker that bought us the toys to give us from Santa. We may not have had a Christmas that year if it wasn’t for her generosity.

Corporate has ordered to have it picked up on Monday to travel to California. We expect to have the shipment soon.

Doug was on the 1 Star Call on Thursday, Nov 14 and said if you want to DOUBLE your VOLUME in 2020, increase your volume by 2% a week or 8% a month and you WILL DOUBLE your business! One of the keys is COMMUNICATION!

Communication either:

  1. Bores
  2. Excites and energizes
  3. Moves. If you communicate in a way that moves, you will move product. Focus on how you communicate with your present team – now pick up the phone!

Doug also asked, “Did you ever think if you had just 1 person a day looking or trying your products/watching a video/talking to you how much business you would have?”

If everyday you had:
1 going in
1 going out
3 in process you would be able to increase your business.

In 2020 build a whole NEW set of legs. Doug calls them the freshman class. Teach them for 18-24 months. Work hard with these 8-10 folks. Then in 5 years you can be done, should you choose.

When thinking about 2020 – add this in the mix!

There are 5 things we need to DO in 2020 concerning the year and our lives: CHALLENGE

1. CHALLENGE what you THINK and take it to a NEW level this year.

This is the Year of the Big Think – and you need to participate. Your life is always nothing more than a
reflection of your thoughts, and the Big Think leads to a bigger and more powerful life.

2. CHALLENGE what you SAY and make your words more Kind but Powerful, and more Empathetic but Empowering.
What you say this year will either lead to another 2018 or 2019, or a new place in your life that you have only imagined. Quit talking yourself out of Huge Success. Start talking yourself towards it, and into it.

3. CHALLENGE what you DO and take the actions that SCARE YOU and make you GROW!
Small actions will lead to a small year. Engage those actions that FORCE you to GROW – and Breakthrough the FEAR and DOUBT that holds you back. NOW!

4. CHALLENGE how you VIEW life and what you have SETTLED FOR.
This is the year of THE REACH. Reach for what you truly want in life, but you must SEE IT first. MUD Settles- and YOU are NOT Mud. QUIT Settling in life for what happens. MAKE something incredible happen. Don’t let others talk you out of it. We were MADE to PURSUE. It is time we all did that one thing- and pursued our dreams relentlessly.

5. CHALLENGE the Status Quo and BLOW IT UP in your own life.
Nothing is as sad as the same old thing happening every year. Shake it UP! Break it UP! TAKE IT UP to a NEW LEVEL and never look back at what was holding you back.
There is a “Y” in the road of life that you are at- and you have to decide if this year is going to be a Masterpiece of Magnificence or a Masterpiece of Mediocrity. I pray that you choose the first one, as it truly is the BETTER and you DESERVE an amazing year as well as a blessed year!

1. After you’ve logged in, you can select “share an image” and choose the image you’d like to share.

    • Instructions: Home > Share an Image > Hit Ctrl+F and search for Onboarding > Hit Select > Join Onboarding > Select

2. Then, select the contact and method for sharing.

    • As long as the method is NOT copy/paste link, it will be tracked from within the app. The Go2App WILL TRACK whether it was opened, and will send you a notice if it was opened.
