The Wonders of The Great Outdoors

In February we brought you the Wonder Designer Coordinates by Lauren Hinds collection that included beautiful cardstock, pocket border strips, pocket journal cards, and Everyday Birthday 2″ border strips. Well this month we’re adding to this amazing collection with The Great Outdoors 2″ Border Strips AND stackable stickers. These are items you will definitely want to add to your collection and let me share you a few examples that will show you why.
The color palette for the Wonder Collection by Lauren Hinds includes rich greens, blues, and browns that are pulled out with the designs in the border strips and stackable stickers. Notice the lovely watercolor look on the border strips portraying mountains and lakes and how well they coordinate with the dark blue striped pocket border strip on the right side of the left page. Plus, these colors look amazing with the Clean Slate Blue refill pages and designer cardstocks. I love how Janette Ballard pulled so many fun colors together to make these photos shine.
One more thing I want to point out on this layout is the journal spot on the lower left corner of the right page. Those are three stickers layered on each other. There’s a tan scallop-edge circle with a brown flag over it and then the fun text flag on top of that. With the different flags, circles, and other shapes, you can create multiple looks with just a few stickers.

This layout from Debbie Hutchings shows how fun it is to create a two-page layout using the 2″ border strips, pocket border cards, pocket journal cards, and the stickers.
Here’s one more from Debbie. This time she has used three 2″ border strips to create horizontal and vertical borders. And I love how she used the trees to pull together the outdoor camping look.
