Alma & Roberto Lopez

Alma Rosa Lopez was born in Coahuayana, Michoacán, a town in southern Mexico. She is one of eight children. Her parents worked in the fields and could not read or write. At age 17, Alma came to the U.S. looking for a better way of life. On her very first day in the country she met her future husband, Roberto. They now have two daughters and a son.

For 30 years Alma worked in a sewing factory until the company closed. She now understands that her unemployment was part of God’s plan, and something much better was waiting around the corner.

“My husband and I were sick and old and economically broke,” she says. “I thought the only things left for us to do were to take care of our grandkids and my 93 year-old mother.”

Fortunately, one of Alma’s friends told her about Youngevity. She attended a presentation and was very impressed with the testimonials she heard about what the products were doing for people. She realized she had to see if the products would help her mother. After eight months her mother’s health turned around and she was able to get off many of the medications she had been taking.

“It is beautiful to know,” says Alma, “that in this world we live in, full of illnesses and bad people, there are also good people that dedicate their time to help people like us, that want to change our way of life, for a better future with Youngevity. I believe in Dr. Wallach’s mission! He is a blessed man put on this earth to change humanity.”

Alma is also very appreciative of Dr. Luis Arriaza and all members of the Spartan Team. She had never done anything like a network marketing business before, but Dr. Arriaza’s encouragement and leadership made all the difference.

“We are in this company because we were tired of our situation,” says Alma. “We decided to do something! We wanted to leave a legacy for our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. We are proving that you can do something great and age doesn’t matter. Even if we don’t speak the language, we can still be Diamonds!”
