Saveur Orange Chicken

Featuring Chili Lime Sea Salt Flakes, Cranberry Orange Balsamic Vinegar, and Cuban Mojo Rub.


1kg/2lb breast or thigh chicken cut into bite sized pieces.
1/2 tsp Chili Lime Sea Salt Flakes
1 tbsp ghee
1/4 cup orange juice
4 tbsp raw honey
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 tbsp Cranberry Orange Balsamic Vinegar
3 tbsp tamari/soy sauce
zest or finely sliced peel of 1/2 an orange
3-4 cups vegetables of choice – I used zucchini, brown onion, brussel sprouts. Slice for cooking.
2-3 tsp Cuban Mojo Rub
1 tbsp GF flour or cornstarch


Season diced chicken with Cuban Mojo Rub & Chili Lime Sea Salt Flakes. Heat 1/2 tbsp of ghee in pan on medium/high heat. Add vegetables & garlic. Once just cooked remove from pan. Add chicken and cook, stirring to avoid sticking. Mix juice, Cranberry Orange Balsamic, honey, peel, soy/tamari & flour/cornstarch in a bowl. Add vegetables and sauce back into pan with the chicken and stir until sauce thickens. Remove from heat. Serve with rice or in lettuce cups.
