Warm days need refreshing drinks and Youngevity has plenty of options to keep you hydrated with tasty concoctions. So grab your lawn chair and keep reading!

Refuel and Refresh with Beets

Not only is this a great smoothie for refueling after a workout, busy day in the yard, or other active day, but CardioBeets™ will add a pop of color.

BEET REFUEL SMOOTHIE

INGREDIENTS
½ cup chopped or shredded carrots
1 medium green apple, diced
1 cup frozen strawberries
½ cup plain, full-fat Greek yogurt
1 scoop CardioBeets™ powder
1 cup ice

DIRECTIONS
Add all ingredients to high-powered blender and mix well.

Cool Down Slushy

Slushies are super easy and adaptable. All you need is a blender, ice, and flavor. This year, instead of using fruit juice, try Pollen Burst™, Beyond Tangy Tangerine®, or another Youngevity product. Here’s the basic recipe for a single slushy. Use a colorful straw for a visual treat.

INGREDIENTS
1 cup chilled water (8 oz)
2 cups ice
1 Youngevity stick pack or one scoop/serving (Pollen Burst, BTT, SaXi™ Super Juice, etc.)

DIRECTIONS
Place all ingredients in blender. Blend for 2 minutes or until you get a smooth texture. Stir with spoon to ensure everything is well blended. Pour into glass and enjoy!

Grown Up Drinks

Let’s be honest, some days you need to reward yourself for adulting an entire day. These two recipes can be made as cocktails or mocktails to accommodate all preferences.

BLOODY MANGO COCKTAIL/MOCKTAIL

INGREDIENTS
2 tbsp vodka (optional)
½ cup Mango juice
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp Saveur Mango Apricot Strawberry Balsamic Vinegar
2 dashes Tabasco sauce
2 tsp Saveur Spicy Cajun Mix
Garnish Lime wedge, slice fresh Mango

DIRECTIONS
Rim highball glass with Spicy Cajun Mix. Add all other ingredients into a mixing glass and stir. Pour into chilled highball over ice. Garnish with lime wedge and mango that were dipped into Spicy Cajun Mix.

POLLEN BURST BERRY RUM PUNCH

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 oz Coconut Rum
1 1/2 oz Light Rum
4 oz Strawberry Daiquiri Mix
1/2 oz Lime Juice
Seltzer
Mulled Strawberries
Pollen Burst Berry (for glass rim)

DIRECTIONS
Rim glass edge with Pollen Burst Berry; set aside. Mix remaining ingredients in a mixing glass; stir. Pour into ice-filled glass; garnish with strawberry or lime.

For a mocktail, use sparkling water in place of rum.

For the Kids in all of Us

While this technically isn’t a drink, it is a refreshing summer treat. And if you eat it too slowly it will become a drink 🙂

MANGO AND STRAWBERRY YOGURT ICE BLOCKS/POPSICLES

INGREDIENTS
1/2 medium mango, stoned, peeled, and coarsely chopped (about 1 cup)
2 cups vanilla or coconut flavored yogurt
1 cup strawberries, sliced
2 tbsp Saveur Mango Apricot Strawberry Balsamic Vinegar

METHOD

Place the mango and half the yogurt plus 1 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar in a blender and blend until smooth; transfer to a pourable bowl or container.

Place the strawberries, yogurt, and 1 tbsp BalsamicVinegar in a clean blender, blend until smooth; transfer to a pourable bowl or container.

Pour half the mango mixture among ten 1/3 cup ice block molds or popsicle mold. Top with half the strawberry mixture. Continue layering with the remaining mango mixture then strawberry mixture to finish. Insert popsicle sticks. Place in freezer for 3 hours or until firm.

Bring on the Drinks

These are just a few ideas. Try iced coffee with the Youngevity coffees or iced tea. Or maybe a Frozen Hot Chocolate with Beyond Hot Chocolate. I don’t know about you but I’m ready to mix up a drink and head to a place where I can relax and enjoy the day. Here’s to a summer filled with fun drinks!
