Get Ready to Run Your First 5k with Youngevity!

WE’ve got the training plan you need to run your first 5k!

Last week, the Youngevity announced they would be hosting their first 5k Run at Youngevity’s 2018 Convention. This announcement could not be more fitting for the Youngevity family and for all the Better Health Now participants.

Although most people say they hate running, I refuse to believe that. I believe most people dislike running because it either hurts them to run or it’s physically exhausting. You can fix both of those with proper nutrition, stretching and working on building up your cardiovascular system. With just a few weeks of training and a commitment to your goal, you’ll be ready to run with your Youngevity team in a few months.

Below is  a basic training plan that will help you get ready for a  5k, or 3.1 miles,  in just 4 short weeks! Really, the hardest part about starting any type of exercise program is not knowing what it is you need to do. This training plan tells you exactly what days you should train and for how long. You’ll go from zero running experience to running 3.1 miles before you know it.

The training plan can be modified based on your schedule or level of running experience. And if you happen to miss a run or two, don’t stress. Just stick to it the best you can and you’ll be in great shape.

Run Your First 5k in Just 4 Weeks!

You can download the training plan below and stick it to your refrigerator to help you stay on track. So put your running shoes on, download your playlist, and get ready to run your first 5k!

4 weeks to 5k

Remember, if you’re just beginning to increase your physical activity, listen to your body. Make sure you’re drinking plenty of water, stretching often, and getting the nutrients you need daily. Using Rebound FX while you train will not only help you stay hydrated, but it also helps replenish the nutrients you lose when you sweat.

Don’t let another week go by, sign up for the inaugural 5k and get ready to give back and get active!
